My budget depends on the car, if it's more of a project, then much less. For a stock car, or shell, not more then a couple thousand, a more complete car in the teens unless it was perfect. Crapforum, your car sounds nice, but 25 is more than I want to spend right now. Interesting that you know the crank horsepower, did you build the engine and have it dynoed before installing? Crate motor?

I'm either looking for a z car with an LS engine and the 6 speed manual transmission, or a project car. I'm really looking for that recipe, so not super concerned with the suspension set up, or some paint or body work needed. Love to hear what you have.

Hello, I am looking for a car for my project. I am interested in any of the S30 coupe models (240z 260z or 280z, not 2+2). I intend to do an engine swap (ls1) and work on the suspension and brakes so those components are not that important, excepting that a Z that drives would be easier to get home... Really looking for low rust where possible, and not break the bank. Project car.
