  1. I emailed jegs and they sent me the cage dimensions so I can check the fit of it.
  2. I'm thinking about building a street/drag car.
  3. http://www.jegs.com/i/Jegster/550/942605K1/10002/-1 It's a chassis and roll cage kit for a 1978 2+2, would it work on my 1975 2+2?
  4. I seen where jegs.com sells a tube chassis kit for a 1978 2+2 (http://www.jegs.com/i/Jegster/550/942605K1/10002/-1) and one for a 1973 Z (http://www.jegs.com/i/Jegster/550/942705K1/10002/-1) either of these kits work on my 1975 2+2?
  5. Decided to take a little time off from the Z to make some decisions. I'm trying to decide on what suspension I want to use and whether to use a 9" rear or stay with the stock independent.
  6. Scored a T5 out of a 5.0 mustang at a swap meet for $25 Saturday.
  7. Here's some progress pics of the build. I've decided to make my frame out of 2x2x1/8. It may be a little heavy but I have no plans to race my car so I think it'll be okay. I picked this car up for $300 and thought it'd be a good car to learn on.
  8. Any pictures or drawing of how you did yours that I could see?
  9. Unfortunately no, I don't have a pipe bender. I thought about making the chassis out of square stock. 1.25 x 1.25 x 1/8 thick and use 1/8" plate to make gussets.
  10. What size tubing should I use for the frame? I'm afraid of weight the car down to much
  11. I'm kinda up in the air on what I want to do with the suspension. I've thought about changing over to S13 coil overs but on a tight budget for this build.
