  1. My dad was able to buy a used 350 Syncrowave with cart, cooler, torch and all for $1500. It's pretty reliable! I think he found it on Craiglist.
  2. Woah, that's an awesome idea. Thanks for the tutorial. It's very helpful!
  3. Try this one: http://horsepowerperformance.com/c-77742-hand-tools-crimping-tool-die.html
  4. Found this one. Woodward Fab Bead Roller . It works with up to 18-gauge mild steel. It's less than 200$.
  5. Nice list above. Steel wool or a wire brush also helps. Depending on how rusty the panel is, you may need both.
  6. I often shop in http://www.nutty.com/. Prompt delivery and fair prices.
  7. Dual saw works great. Very tough, plus the assembly is also minimal.
  8. H4 removable bulbs would fit perfectly in your car.
  9. I use a Powercon 400. It is a energy efficient welding rectifier and effective in power savings.
  10. Patience is a virtue. It would be better if you can post some pics of your project.
  11. Cool! But the graphics aren't that great.
  12. Good luck on your project! Looking forward to seeing the end-product.
  13. Wooooah! That's a handsome car. The wheels look fine, atleast for my standard.
  14. I use my homemade welding cart from Harbor Freight, it's a service cart which I modified. It's huge at 24x36, but it can hold my mig, grinders, brush, and all the other equipment.
  15. No way, that shell is quite expensive. You can surely find a better shell somewhere else. But I kinda like the structure of it.
  16. Heat wrap is also a good idea. When I was experiencing trouble with the header on my truck melting the starter cable, my mechanic advised me to use firesuit material from a used firefighters reflective uniform. His idea's brilliant, it works incredibly well.
  17. Check out this thread - http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=976513
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong, both MIG & TIG welding can be used on aluminum and steel and stainless steel...You simply change the electrode to match what you are welding.
  19. Nice job man! Your work area is looking great. Mine is an utter mess.
