  1. Got a running r200 clsd just pulled from my 240z. Also have the CV shafts that were modified to run in a s30. And also have the turn signal sockets I believe... send me your email address and I'll get you a few pictures of the dff and Axles..
  2. I think the diff I pulled was from a 91' Q45. Originally I got one from a 97' but found out the final drive was close to the R200clsd 3.70. I needed the 3.54 diff.
  3. Don't kow what other finned covers fit the Q45 diff. But all the q45 diffs I've seen had little fins at the bottom of the rear cover..
  4. Q45 diffs are pretty strong. I had one in my 240 for a few years , dyno at 600hp/600 tq. You have get the right Q45 diff for your application, did you know they had to different diffs for the Q45?? 90-95 diffs had 3.50 ish final drive ratio and the bigger input shafts (30 spline) 96 and up had the 3.69 ish final drive ratio and 29 spline input shafts. Axles need to be made. That setup was the smoothest running diff I had in the car, no clunking/noise. I sold that setup years ago on Hybrid. I wish I would of kept it. I curently have longnose R200 lsd from 300zx turbo installed now, it is holding up to thoses power levels. But a little noisey and clunky. I am waiting to install the q45 diff back in the car after the first of the year.
  5. Running a q45 diff in my 240z now. Dyno at 600/600 tq. I was running 3.78 LSD long nose 300zx diff. Held the power just fine.. Ran the heck out of it at Sebring and Daytona. But wanted a 3.54 ratio.. R230 is slightly larger than the ford 9"... Don't need one of those unless your putting down serious power. Your z will be super fun with that kind of power
  6. FYI q45 do not come with r230... They are r200
  7. I have a pr. of 240z stut housings, however there already shortened/ sectioned. LMK.
  8. I'm using this stuff....http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=133&pcid=4 They also sell friction modifier, if it still chatters on tight turns. Mine is quiet without the added friction modifer.
  9. Looking for a r200 mustache bar, bushings aren't critical.
  10. Looking for a set of vlsd cv axles that came in the Shiro edition 300zx turbo. LMK if you have a set... http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/75509-photos-of-300zx-88ss-shiro-vlsd-cv-joints/#
  11. I'm looking for a good set of CV's for the VLSD that came in the SHIRO edition 300zx turbo.. If you have a pr. I need them.. PM with your price..
  12. From what I have read in formus, If you find a r200 with the vlsd, you must have the matching cv axles for that vlsd. If you buy a aftermarket vlsd for your r200, you may need those cv axles made for the vlsd unit. It Maybe easier to find a clsd r200 and use the cv axles you already have. Or buy a Quaife lsd.
  13. You can not use a factory r154 transmission to bolt up to your 2jz.. You need to obtain a 1jz bell housing and install that on the r154 trans. Then it will bolt up.
