Hey Guys, so here is an update how this builds going.. I noticed some very minor scoring when i pulled the head off the RB so i decided to tear it apart to see what was wrong. The first piston started to pre detonate so we did a hone, and then went on the hunt for an oem piston and ring set. Here are some pics of the reassembly After i got it all back together i dropped it in and decided that i wanted to go with a front facing intake. Most builds ive seen people went to the short stubby runners and from what i read that takes away some torque. I ordered the cheap bolt on intake from ebay and when it got here i realized why everyone went the other way. After a few cuts and a trip to the fab shop it fits like a glove. Here are some pics of how the intake came out.. I'll take some more pics of the bay when my couplers come in for the IC piping. I got a new driveshaft made up I made my own motor and tranny mounts for this because i wanted to get the motor lower and a little further back. compared to slotting the stock ones. I ordered megasquirt so once that gets here i am going to wire it up and see if she starts!
