  1. There is a set on Ebay right now. 11.17.2015
  2. How is the headlight cover reproduction going? An update with pics would be great. I know I would buy a set. Kevin
  3. What a great find! Good for you. I see a few mods, but overall a very nice Z. Take your time and make good choices. We have some good choices and resources available to us. Paint looks really good so you're already thousands ahead of the game. Personally, I would put different wheels and tires on her. Perhaps Enkei's new Apache II 15x8's http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/LNP1/25-1198 Enjoy!!! Kevin
  4. Do you know of any supplier for a smooth finished windshield rubber gasket? I'm trying to get rid of the chrome strip without having an empty channel. Thanks, Kevin
  5. Hello everyone. I have a 1977 280Z. The rear bumper end pieces have the typical partial split in the accordion section. I've tried a contact cement and a glue guaranteed for rubber/plastic with no luck. Does anyone know the right stuff to do the repair, or a place I can send them to to do a good repair? Besides the small splits they are in great condition. Thanks, Kevin
  6. Looking for a set of new (not used) aluminum brake drums for '70-'78 Z. kevingorby@q.com
  7. Hi guys. Need to pick your brains. I have picked up a nice 5 speed tranny and was told it was out of a '78 or '79 Z. I want to swap it with the 4 speed original. I was told it would be a direct swap, but I have found 2 differences with the 5 speed right off the bat. First, there is a sending unit with 2 yellow wires located near the shifter on the right upper side. Second, the speedometer cable attaches on the left side (instead of the right side) with a 45 degree down angle. The 5 speed serial number is 7Y04342. It is stamped ZL 71B with a #1 stamp below that. Your help is appreciated. Kevin
  8. Thanks, guys. I see most of you use Luminas. Are they worth the extra money over the standard Tokico blues? What are the advantages?
  9. I've heard complaints about the Tokico springs, but not much about the Eibachs. I want to stay with lowering springs and not coilovers. Are there other manufacturers? ST springs are not making them for Z's any more. I have a '71 240Z. I only want to do this once. Any advice is much appreciated.
  10. I picked up a great deal for upgrading the brakes on my 1971 240Z. 1989 Toyota 4 Runner calipers on 300Z finned rotors front and back. Of course the rear calipers do not support the existing e-brake. I have heard mention of a hydraulic line lock that works very well. Can anyone tell me how I would add that feature? Thanks, Kevin
  11. I have a 1971 240Z with enough cancer to warrant replacing the entire tail light/hatch section. I have a friend who has a good replacement from a 1975 Z. Are they an exact match?
  12. How did you accomplish the media blasting and what did you use? Did you do it yourself or hire it out. I'm ready to do the same and would appreciate any advice and details. Kevin
