  1. Hi All Havent been on in a while but thought you might get a laugh from my shop build I am doing at the moment. We are trying to get this car built in 10week for the Nissan Datsun Nationals at Phillip Island Her is a link to the first vid. Its not a professional job Ash
  2. Latest pic of the car Put a mesh grill in the front Ash
  3. Here is a side shot and a low front and other advice on aero etc is always appreciated Ash
  4. Hi All Been ofline for a few days and just noticed all the talk On the wheel travel its the same setup I ran on m old car and never had the tyre make contact with the flair so it should be fine. On the intercooler pipes they do run through holes in the wheel arch. The main issue I had is they reduce the turning circle because of the large tyre etc. I was going to go back to the G-nose but always loved the look of the blunt front. I am still thinking of adding some type of dive plates infront of the flairs to try to divert the air? As far as brake ducts I will be using the narrow slits in the base of the front spoiler. Ash
  5. I find with toe out on the front my race car wanders a bit under heavy braking Race car with 285 slicks all round I like to run 1-2mm toe in Ash
  6. Looks awsome Giving me motivation to try it myself Ash
  7. Pics with the new carbon bonnet I made. (overlay) put on my road tyres so I can test it Just need to make a grill now? Ash
  8. The flairs are actually off an old 911 porsche. My Dad had them in the back of the shed and I tried them on and with a little modding they fitted up ok So I havent actually got molds but probably will make some. Ash
  9. Thanks again The spoiler is removable and the original front valance is under it. I will definatly seal the area between the spoiler and rad support( havent done it yet) I read a little of the aero section and I think the main info I got was the sealing of that section. Its been 4 yrs so far so its really great to have it getting closer to being ready to test Ash
  10. Thanks guys. always nice to get good feedback The gusets between the a piler are just flat steel with holesaw holes all the way up it The wheels are from a local company in Aus called performance wheels. They are a copy of the globe wheels and are 16 x 10. Ash
