  1. How much, what size, call me asap 9043224382
  2. need one asap. email:skaterboy1689@yahoo.com
  3. where is the shaft shorter? the joint? the shaft? the flange?
  4. So im trying the z32 vlasd swap into my z31. I've swapped pumpkins. I've modified the shafts enough where they will go in. The Problem I'm having is, when i put the shorter shaft in, it wont go in all the way, maybe sticking out about 2mm than normal. I am ok with it sitting like this because the stop ring is caught. but like another 2mm before i get to this depth, the VLSD gets locked and i cant turn them at different speeds... I didn notice the further it went in, the harder it got (maybe i was getting tired) But is it supposed to be so tight that i turn the input shafts by hand?
  5. so if the wriet says to cut the z31 half shafts by 1.5" for the z32 LSD swap, i would only need to cut appx 3/8"...?
  6. I pulled the half shafts form a 280zxt. are there any differences between them and my 86 na z31? the look the same, and have the same diff, but i wasn't sure of the length... i dissembled them and forgot to measure them...
  7. some opinions/advice would be much appreciated.
  8. So, it has been said to do this to the z32 input shafts.... My input shafts from my z32 look like these... I disassembled the half shafts, the spider gear slid over the spline... Does that need to be welded? Also, if the shorter input shaft has to be splined deeper, and have a new ring groove, why cant i just use the T-T shaft? They look the same and already have the correct ring grove. I have not compared the longer side yet... I also have a theory that if the shorter shaft has it's splines increased, it will not need to be shortened to slide all the way in...
  9. one says t2, other says t3, both are lefties and came off the same year... what would cause this?
  10. so when the parking brake is pulled, only the passenger's wheel is stopped. few months back, i saw the drivers cable was unhooked. i hooked it back up, but when i pushed the mechanism away)simulate the ebrake down) the wheel locked up. I pulled it froward (simulate the ebrake up) wheel spun freely. I took it apart and got some pics... but when i put it back together the wheel has some resistance to it... I'm going to get another caliper becacuse i dont want to mess up my brakes/rotor.
