Hey guys, for those of you who know me, sorry that I have not been around… live is crazy, and when you don’t have a pc it sucks.

If anyone with the T56 can help, it would be great…
Can you guys feel the through-out bearing spinning in the shifter and pedal when you shift?
Sometimes when the car has been driven for a while, the feeling in the shifter gets very strong, and sometimes you here the bearing, or at least I think it’s the bearing. It sounds like 60grid sandpaper on metal.
The noise happens just after you shift into a gear and start letting the clutch out. The noise will stay there if you leave the gear in or if you go into neutral. The noise only goes away when you let the clutch out all the way.
It happens randomly in any gear, more so in 2nd and reverse. It will do it up shifting and down shifting. It will even do it standing still.
I ruled out the tranny since it’s so random. I have the felling that the master needs to be adjusted but before I try that I wanted some input.
I changed the bearing a moth ago to a new GM style. It looks bigger and stronger that the old.
T56 out of a ’00 SS, master is a Tilton 15/16 bore (almost adjusted all the way out), and Z06 clutch on a SS flywheel.
The odd thing is the car drives like a dream, it’s just sometimes when I drive the car a lot (1 hour or more) that nose happens. Maybe it’s just me getting lazy and not shifting all the way? I’m not sure….
Thank you for any input…
(Car has been a great daily driver for the past 7 month)
Thanks…
