Thanks, datsunlover...I saw that one when I searched. I'd have to think the same as well (that it'd be easier than a TT implant)...but I was hoping someone might have gone as far as to detail the custom parts required for the transplant... I'm thinking about a TT swap for my '91, which leaves me with the VG30DE for the earlier Z. Given the smog and flat-top carbs I figured even the NA swap would be one helluva boost in performance.

I have the Stillen milds in mine...last owner had them installed so I couldn't tell ya exact difference. But, I can say after having driven many Z32s that the range of pull is much better...stronger power from 2500-4000rpm. At the end of the day, I'm not sure I would have paid for it...$600 is 1/4 the cost of a TT-clip

Has anyone found a how-to on an NA VG30DE transplant into a 1st gen? I tried search and didn't find anything specific to the NA, mainly TT stuff. Thanks.
