  1. We are currently in process of making OEM type headlight covers and will be in production later this year. Since there are few different versions made by Nissan at the time which most people are not Aware of, we are finalizing small details right now. It will be manufactured by headlight company. Stay tune! JDM-car-parts.com
  2. Take a look at this http://jdm-car-parts.com/blogs/news/16149728-fact-about-factory-muffler-on-early-datsun-240z http://jdm-car-parts.com/blogs/news/15973536-original-oem-type-muffler-and-down-pipe-finally-launched
  3. Finally we made these brackets that DOES NOT require any cutting or modification to fit 240Z bumpers. In Japan, all the cars made between 1969-1978 have early 240Z bumpers. However for US market, Nissan did heavy body modification to clear strict "5 mile-bumper" rule and fitted bog bumpers. These kit give those who wants to have JDM/Euro look to their car an option! Precision cut, bend, and drilled by latest technology using OEM gauge metal. http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/240z-front-bumper-conversion-bracket-kit-for-us-1974-78-datsun-260z-280z http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/280z-rear-bumper-bracket-conversion-kit-for-us-1974-78-datsun-260z-280z-late-s31 These will be available from Motorsport Auto from this week as well!
  4. I know, I am from Japan. For US market, these rims were offered as optional wheels for Black pearl. Black pearl came standard with regular steel wheels with hub caps. Yes these wheels were available in Asia back in 1975-78.
  5. The spoiler is Factory optional spoiler that Matsuo -san designed. This spoiler was mover put on US car nor Japanese domestic model. Only UK and some European country received this option. As far as wheels go, these are Genuine Nissan optional alum wheels for 1978 280Z Black pearl.

Mr. Katayama, president of Nissan USA at the time, gave “go sign” for the production of the Z cars when he first met Mr. Matsuo at Nissan Design center inYokohama. As designing progressed toward production, design team came up with variation of this special sport car: GT Racing version, Targa top, Convertible, Coupe with notch back, 2+2, and station wagon. However, only 2+2 version became production car 5 years later.48 years later, Mr. Matsuo helped Jay Ataka to bring this special Z to reality.
