I have been reading that as well, maybe a prior owner removed it. My problem is that I would like to know that everything is going to match up that I have before tearing everything apart.

I need help with adding A/C to a 78 280Z that did not have factory air installed. I have purchased the used parts, i.e. Evaporator and control panel, condensor, etc., but need help with pictures or something to figure out how/what to remove from existing heater only setup. I have the factory service manual but not very helpful to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
