  1. Need to get out the good camera...iPhone pics are kinda weak.
  2. I thought I would revive this one with a little progress. Never did get the mirrors and spoiler figured out but did pull the motor and send it back to the body shop. Should get it back in a few weeks and start putting it back together…slowly
  3. The Fender mirrors never look quite right to me without the ZG flares, but i will reconsider....
  4. Well its all back together and been having fun ripping it around all summer...cant decide if i should put the spoiler back on and have no idea what mirrors to go with...motor coming out soon to do the engine compartment. came out nice over all, some flaws in the clear getting fixed when we do the engine bay. Gets a ton of attention for sure. Any opinions on the spoiler and mirrors?
  5. i have to look at the size, but i think 225/45/16... you could go wider no problem if you have coil-overs and had the right offset on the rim , the coil overs give you lots of room on the inside.
  6. Yeah Vitaloni Sebring Mach 1. You see these on vintage race cars. not sure if you could really see anything out of them mounted like that, but i have been tempted to try those myself. The Californians look cool to, anyone have any experience with ether of these on the Z?
  7. The high end for the price was 3500 I told them not to go over that, find out soon the total but i expect about 3300 or so. I took it all apart except for the doors, windshield and hatch glass. They did everything that shows except the engine compartment, get to that next winter. The wheels are 16x8, can't recall the ofset, they came with the car. G.C coilovers and rolled fenders they don't rub.
  8. Ha.. yeah the Insurance agent was like "what damage?" ACORN DAMAGE!! .. lol
  9. Hmmm....but I kinda like having the only one in this exact orange ... lol ... But like I said 09 and up Hemi orange without the metal and it would be hard to tell the diff I think. Have to find a challenger to park next to and check it out.
  10. Orange is defiantly a love it or hate it color...some people don't get it.my second choice was the WRX blue..but this thing gets a crowd every time.
  11. We just went for the same orange it had when I got it..the car was red stock but the p.o had painted it the perfect orange in my opinion. It is very close to the new Hemi orange but just one shade darker and no metallic. I almost went Hemi orange but chickened out at the last minute...glad I did, it's sweet.
  12. So last fall the oak trees on my street decided to bear unusually large fruit and pummel the Z. The right and left fenders took the brunt of the damage with only a few dings on the hood and roof. I had two other cars parked outside and nether got even one ding, but the Z had over fifty on the fenders alone! These were quite small and not like Hail damage but just little waves …over and over and over. So in the tiny little town I find myself in the bids to fix the dings and repaint just the front came to $2500. Thing is the paint on this car has always been crap even though it looked great in pictures, up close it was full of bondo scratch had totally wavy doors even a few hairs suck in the paint. So the insurance co. paid out the $2500.00 I stripped the parts and threw in the extra $500 to $800 and dropped it at the shop. The plan is just to do as best they could for that price, make it straight, paint the jams, delete some emblems ext. so a few pics..The one in the driveway is a before shot, took about three weeks should get it back in a few days
  13. Dude i need that T5 if you wanna sell it..be down in socal round the 10th or so could pick it up..take the drive shaft too...let me know
