  1. I put on some Enkei RPF1 16x8 +25 wheels today with 15mm spacers (effective +10mm spacing) and the inside rubs on the stock spring perch standing still. I will try first trimming the lower perch then if that doesn't work, I may have to go with coilovers. This is with 225/50R16 hankook tires. Update: I trimmed the lower perch, and now the tire clears when down or up, but the spring still is about 2-3mm away from the tire. Since this is definitely not enough clearance, I will be checking camber, then maybe converting to coilovers.
  2. Get the adaptor and unhook all of the linkages to both carbs. Don't worry about tuning until after synched. Try to (by ear) keep both carbs at about the same idle setting while moving the idle mainly on one towards your destined point. Put on the synchronizer and screw in the middle section until the little red piece gets to the line (hopefully you have the same type as me). Now move the synchronizer to the other carb, not changing anything on the synch, and tune its position until the red piece reaches the same spot. Now you're synched up. Put back on the linkages and make sure you're still at the desired RPM. If not start over. Pat yourself on the back.
  3. If you get the transverse link figured out for the finned cover, I'd put down a deposit too. I'm not usually on this site but I'm sure you could get a bunch of customers at zcar.com too.
