Default Went to the dyno with the GT42r today...

I'm pretty pleased with the results...
this was done at
~85degF ambient,
25psi boost
94 octane sunoco gas
no nitrous
no water or meth injection
it's a stroked L28 with an N42 head

I'll fill in a few more details later, but wanted to get the results out (okay, I'm a little pumped)

EDIT:
100mph corresponds roughly to 5000rpm
The rev limiter was set at 7600rpm and this run ended on the rev limiter.

Holy smokes! That must be a world record for L28 power, or darn close. Congrats on the personal best.

Wow, thats a ton of boost on pump gas. Killer numbers!!! What RPM does 100mph relate to?

wow!

huge congrats... I've got my work cut out for me now once I get mine up and running soon.

What was the rpms your max #s were at? How high were you spinning up to? Maybe you can convert your graph for us to represent rpms.

Can't wait to see the details on your build exactly.

Wow, the tool kit wasn't far off from the HP prediction. Impressive is an understatement but to do it on pump gas is even more remarkable. With a 15% drivetrain loss that puts you at 700HP crank HP. I think that's got to be a new record for street driven L28.

BTW, did you get the DynoJet DRF output file from the shop. If you did you can download the Run Viewer and view additional data. You could also change the MPH to RPM if the pickup was connected. Here's the link:

No, 11.5:1 seemed to be pretty much the sweet spot. I would have liked to have had the ambient temps a bit cooler, though...
