Hey guys, I've got a 78 280Z with a V8 in it but my goal is to style it in JDM fashion, big flares, airdams, spoilers etc. I have a build log you can check out here: www.vvise.net/z.php I'll try to keep this thread up to date with an image or two when I make progress on the car. Just last night I rebuilt all my gauges with new white faces that I made and LED lights. I think the effect is amazing.
I've been lurking around here for a little while, figured it's about time to put a post down and add some visibility to my Z. First off, I'm out in the Kitchener/Waterloo Region in Ontario, Canada. I think there's a handful of old Z cars up here. Second, I bought my 280Z last summer have been working on it gradually since then. It's got a 305 SBC V8 in it which makes a wonderful sound, and I've been slapping cosmetic mods onto it non stop. This summer I hope to get new wheels, flares, and suspension and lower the thing. Third, here's a picture. Cheers, if you're the trendy type you can keep up to speed on the car on my instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/pporzuczek/
Hi! I'm Mark, also known as wheee! on the370Z.com forum. I have a 2010 370Z and just purchased a 1976 280Z to restore. I am also a vice president of the Edmonton Z Car Club. Looking for helpful advice and sources for parts during the planned restoration of my car. It will be a mulit-year process with me doing most of the work myself. I'm pretty handy with tools and do all the work on my 370Z too. I am a Canadian Forces member and work in Edmonton at the Base here. I am an EO Tech (Fire Control Systems) at 1 CER. Cheers!
Hi Guys, I've been hanging around here for a while and figured I should start a build thread. My last project was a 2001 SVT Cobra Convertible, I loved it but I wanted to have something more classic and something a little more budget friendly..yeah right! I picked up this roller last year, no drivetrain or exhaust was included. It was driving before it was taken apart and also had to go through a government safety inspection due to being brought into Canada from the US It looks to be in pretty good shape, the only rust I can see so far is in the dog legs, inner fender on the passenger side and the rad support. I'd like to hear what you guys think of this a starting point, I'm undecided on a motor..but I'm leaning towards a L28ET set up. So feel free to chime in on that, and if anyone can identify which front spoiler that is I'd appreciate it Here are some pics;
