Jim's 1972 240z LS1

Recommended Posts

Glad I found this thread! Im the one that picked up this car from Jim. I already had a 72 with a 2.8+5-speed swap that i was shopping around to get an LS1 swap into. Glad I found Jims, we worked out a price that was good for both of us that after I sold my 72, came out to less than I would have spent paying someone to swap a LS into my 72, and this one is an all around much nicer/straighter car than mine was. And let me just say, Jims swap is one of the cleanest, most well sorted LS swap I've seen. and hes done plenty of extra work on this car thats all been better than I would have expected if i would have sent it out to many of the shops I was considering.

Anyhow, I have a lot more in store for this car, though Jims done a lot of the heavy lifting. I'll be swapping out the standard length coilover setup for a shortened set that I already have (techno toy) also have the Arizona F+R wilwood brakes here waiting to go on with Modern Motorsports rear adjustable LCAs. then its off to get a 6 - point roll cage and then paint. I'll post some more here as it progresses on my end  :icon6:

Window is always open in the future for an LSx for my new Z. So i may be back one day. For now "GOTTA KEEP IT CARBURATED!"
