How much can you do on speed hit gauges

6 GAUGE CUSTOM KIT

GPS Speedometer 200mph, Tachometer 10K RPM Shift-light, Oil Pressure Gauge 100 psi, Water Temp Gauge 120-260F, Fuel Level Gauge, Volt Gauge 0-18V

Except I don't need volt gauge. If I can swap it out for an a/f ratio one

Got some good news!  I have a friend of mine who has been building these!  These are made for the Z cars, to fit the Speedhut gauges, The use 4" for the two main gauges, and are specific to the speedhut, the smaller gauges use 2 5/8 but are not tailored to the Speedhut, but will definitely work.

Sorry - slightly off topic but that tach appears to have check engine and brake warning lights - I didn't see an option for this (still don't) when I ordered mine, or I would have ordered it that way.  Was that tach supplied like that or was it modded later?

Yes, you can add that now as an option.  I believe it's an additional 10 per LED.  We weren't able to do that a year ago.

I just received mine a couple of weeks ago.  I don't see any way to select such an option on their website.  I probably already know the answer, but is there any way to retrofit or send it back for mods for a fee?

EDIT:  I just spoke with Speedhut, and they gave me an RMA to add in the two lights, so that was easier than I expected!

Sounds good!  SPeedhut has exceptional customer service!  It's on their website, it's something you have to tell them.

Awesome, can't wait for mine to get made....

TimZ, do you have any pics showing your dash with the speed hut gauges installed?

No, I don't have them installed yet - just sent the tach back to add the engine and brake warning lights

Here's a few of the Speedo mounted in the stock gauge housing:

20170105 221405

20170105 221416

20170105 221500

... I just had to file down the ribs on the retaining ring until it was a snug fit in the gauge pod, then I drilled three small pilot holes around the periphery where the ribs were contacting the pod and added three small screws to hold everything in place.  Couldn't have asked for a better fit!

Yea Tim, those are going to look nice in your Z.

I could swear I saw some nice azz gauges in you car before. Blacked out and very colorful when on.  Am I mistaking?

No, you are correct- I have the full set of Defi 60mm black facegauges, but not the tach, and they don't make a speedo.  The Defi tach that works with my setup has been discontinued, so I went with the Speedhut speedo and tach so they would match.

My winter project started out as trying figure out how to put a T56 Magnum in, so it looked like I needed an electronic speedo, and it just kind of ballooned from there (like it always does  )...
