I traded for this car when i was 18yrs old. It was running driving, i drove it for a few years, man it was fast, had 280zx block with 280z head with the tripple webor carb set up. well to make a log story short it broke down, and it got put in storage. "several times" life was not going my way and it got put on back burner till i could get on my feet again. 8yrs went by, then got a house with a garage "whew hoo" time to work on it again got it striped down going to do the body work and paint, then again life gets bad again. Move a few times, lost jobs, some college, kids, Well it gets put away back to storage "boo hoo". well 7 ys later here i am doing lots of reasearch to put a 302 sbf in. While im tryin to find a doner car "late model motor, fuel injected". Well i come across a 5.4 "whew hoo free doner truck" here is where i am today.

That is cool. I can not wait to get mine finished, i just found a donor truck with a triton 5.4. I also found 2 more doner z cars and tons of new parts for cheap. Things are finally headed towards building this car, or maybe one of the other ones, which ever has least amount of rust, i wanna drive it again...

Update time, last 2 weeks have been nice weather so ive been busy. I found some old pictures of the teardown of the blue z. Here they are...well i guess ill keep trying it keeps telling me server error..hmm well i have been working on the white z also, found out thad it already has 12+8 front calipers installed on front. It also has i think it a 3\4 swaybar in the front. I got rims and tires switched so it now has matching tires all the way around. I made 2 good seats out of 4 bad seats, also I found out that the sound deadner on floors and transmission tunnel has been removed. I found out the frame is bent, it looks like it has been slid in to a curb because the passanger side frame is pushed in where i think is called the stability bar mounts to the frame. I also have been working on the truck removing parts, have front clip, bumper taken off and all the wires removed from the dash and dash it is gone "way more wires than i expected". I did have a nice conversation with a guy at archangel that asures me that what im doing is feasable and he can make the motor run with out all the extras kill switches "whew a load off my mind"..well thats all i can think of i hope what ever is wrong with hybridz servers gets fixed i really like this site...

Here is where we had to leave it.. Now the real fun begins motor and transmission mounts, wiring the whole car. Im going to use all the wiring harnesses to run everything even the lights..
