I honestly have no idea what to call these, been searching around but nobody really has a name or a possible vendor for em. I think it would be a nice alternative to the 240/260 bumper, makes it nice and smooth.

Anyone have any idea what to call em? Better yet how to get a hand on em? hoping it isn't custom handmade..

Yeah, i've been looking for these. No luck finding them. I have a feeling they would be expensive as hell to get from Star road. So i'm going to try and make some out of fiberglass. My idea was to use clay on the car to shape a piece then mold the fiberglass onto the clay. I was looking for a type of plastic that i could cut heat and mold to the correct shape but no luck. Let me know if you have any ideas. If i can make a good mold i might make more of them.

I've seen those on a blue Z as well. It was from a guy who had visited japan and posted a bunch of his pics on facebook. I made a comment asking where they were from but I never got a response.

They may be produced by someone you could purchase from but I can't imagine them being that hard to make.

I love the way the homeland mods these cars. The attention to detail and quality parts, without changing the cars looks away from being a Z (as opposed to someone trying to make it look like something it isn't).

those look really good to me. Its a tough spot to fill since it is so shallow. Were it deeper and steeper angles it would be easy to fill. How are you attaching this?? I was planning on welding in a piece on my headlight bucket, but since one is fiberglass, this would be a better route lol.

I've communicated with him and ask to purchase a few sets. He told me they are "in production". He will let me know when avail.

Thanks!

@ Jay, I molded them out of 1/4in ABS. They are mounted with 3 bolts on the backside of the ABS that fit through the existing holes (the ones that attach the air dam) in the bodywork. My air dam was not exactly even so the covers are molded and mounted slightly different form each other.

@ RB26, That's awesome. Did they say what material the covers are made out of?
