75 Fairlady 2+2 RestoMod Atlanta, Ga

Recommended Posts

So, this is the beginning of a new transition.

Making that move, from 11 years of honda, to a new chassis.

i like Function/Form. i like driveability. Clean paint is always nice, but i dont want to worry about every little bump in the road.

I am a machinist. i am a decent welder. sheet metal is all new to me.

All that being said. I have a Fairlady. I traded a fun little acura integra for a legally registered 1975 Fairlady 2+2.

Came with a few goodies, as pictures will show.

Going through the fender, i hit some funny paint/primer/bondo.  really gummy. clogged up an 80 grit grinder disc quick. this is of the Right fender. and theres way more bondo to go. looks like they didnt even try to pull it any.

Etching primer after sanding to bare metal. left fender, right roof, part of b pillar on right side. I have add, hard to concentrate.

This guy is getting a fun fast track.

nothing fancy other than the looks of the bay.

some mods, and an RB20 maybe 25.

painless wiring. ripping the old out as we speak.

dash is out, to examine the even more places we have rust, but still wanting to drive.

pics or it didnt happen. haha.

I always see threads like this after they are 5 years old and I end up having to read through 5 years of crap to catch up and see the end product. I am glad that I'm getting into this thread very early on to see your progress! Keep up the good work.

Pulled the front part of the wiring

Worked through the 21circut painless wiring kit

Looked at dash wiring a bit

Gearing up to replace the floor pans

Stringing it out a bit. Looking through suspension now, even though I still have no clue.
