My supercharged lt1 z. Will be leaving me shortly,

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm new and I have a cool Z. I haven't had it long and the previous owner everything to it. Guess I would show it off before letting her go.

When i first got her, she didn't run. Sat for 6 months, and recently found out it was having a simple fueling issues that I fixed. Good lord is she a beast!

My Z has to be every bit of 400+ to the wheels. Though it's not biggy, she stops on a dime!

Tell me what you guys think. (Engine bay pics coming soon.)

Where are the engine pictures?  That's the most interesting part.

I'll post some this evening. They are nothing pretty, lol. I haven't "cleaned" up the bay yet. Previous owner got it running and its been the way it is for a while. For the mean time here is a Vid of her When i first picked it up. Dirty as can be.

Sorry, I missed the "coming soon" part.

Is it a turbocharger (supercharger) or some sort of belt-driven unit.  Couldn't see through the hardware.

p.s. you know you can't sell without donating first, right?  Just to help you avoid some disappearing posts.

Donate where? I haven't listed nor tried selling it here..just wanted to display it and its coolness before when/if its gone. But i wouldn't mind letting the community have first dibs.

its a vortec v2 supercharger..belt driven.

I just happened to be the one who picked this car up. The guy who built this car certainly was more concerned about making it work than about cosmetic efficiency. However, I've already taken it on a drive from Georgetown, KY to Terre Haute, IN and it's quite a reliable ride. Even let the wife take it for a quick spin. I plan on doing a total tear down and full rebuild (the right way) this winter, but for now, she's sufficient for a little fun while the weather is still warm.
