Dang that is looking really good. I am getting ready to put the same kit on my car. How did you figure out how high up to cut your quarters and inner wheel wells without fitting the wheels first.

Alright...

Its been a while since I've updated.   I finally had the balls to section my struts and install coil overs!  I am running the Tokico Illumina BZ3099 and the BZ3015 inserts.

Here's what the camber plates look like. The conical top hats are not required for camber plates. I did however buy the camber plate upper hat system from TechnoToyTuning for only the front.

I need to get this car moving...  and fast..  so I'll finish up the roll cage soon and place an order on the fuel cell so I can start priming the chassis and get ready for paint so I can finally assemble the damn car.

Also..   change of plans..  I will NOT be running a VQ35.

I stumbled on a killer deal on craigslist on a TON of RB parts from McKinney motorsports...  check this out this little jackpot...

Lots of goodies for cheap.      Anyway.. I will be going with a RB25DET NEO, rather than the RB26.

Yeh!

I actually ordered a RB25DET NEO with transmission and a Subaru LSD 3.54 and Ermish Racing CV chafts on Thursday! So I'm waiting for the guy to pack it up and ship!

I also found some really cool wheels from http://psvintagewhee...m/products.html they are the T/A II version wheels. I'm going to order 15x12 wheels. Priced very well.

What kind of power are you shooting for? Is an R180 going to hold up?

Those wheels look good, probably the same, or similar design as the Watanabe RS/Minilites/etc. Available in a 17" too! Gonna bookmark that one.

Alrighty.. time for a update!

Lots of good things.

I found a RB25DET NEO out of a R34 2002 GT-T.. I also got a 5 speed RWD transmission and I got a Subaru STI 3.54 LSD with Ermish racing CV shafts.

It has a Borg Warger S256 turbocharger, injector dynamics 1000cc injectors and a NISTUNE ecu.

When I sectioned my struts.. I sectioned them wrong. Very wrong...
http://forums.hybrid...z/#entry1168032 read more about it here..

Anyway... I went ahead and added pieces back into the strut tubes... what a pain. 20170208_120343.jpg

I am aware the strut tube is bent at the thread. It fell out of the vice. Luckily it still threads together with the gland nut. Thank goodness.

As for the wheels I found a company called PS Vintage wheels...
http://psvintagewhee...m/products.html

I will be going with 15x12 with a 5.25" backspace. I'll add spacers if I want to add more width.

Alright ran into some problems today swapping in my Greddy intake plenum...

First off in the NEO, the fuel rail bracket has a different spacing so I had to modify that.

In addition the NEO has a 4 bolt IACV instead of a 3 bolt. So I ordered a machined adapter to fit the 4 bolt IACV on the Greddy manifold... surprise surprise the holes weren't drilled properly .

20170314_132614.jpg

So I had to re-drill and countersink it..
20170314_133521.jpg

I also had to re-tap most of the air and water fittings...

All done
