Sometimes it just all catches up with you.

I Put some money aside for some repairs and upgrades on my 280Z and then:

The Audi A8L needed an oil & filter change, new wiper blades, an alignment, new spark plugs and new front brakes, and

The suburban needed a broken passenger door panel repaired and the front seats recovered, and

The 300ZX convertible needed new shocks, a new set of tires, and a 4-wheel alignment.

At least all the other vehicles will be in good shape.

Yeah, cars are great...until they're not. After you get through fixing up the mechanical issues on the other cars, maybe you should buy yourself a shiny little trinket for the Z as a reward to yourself. Billet license plate frame, new lug nuts, something like that. 'Cause, you been good, right?

To do the FULL led front and rear lighting is a pretty penny.  ( to do it right.)  I am just trying to get my Z on the road.... lol.... I have bought 2 54" curved LED bars for my DD truck as a reward..... now to just by the Roof rackthat they need to be mounted to...... then 35" tires, front and rear bumpers......

See what you started!!!!!b

Shiny thing?  I love shiny things!  I'm thinking more along the lines of a full LED conversion for all my external lights, less the HID conversion for the headlights, though.

One of the first thing I did when I got the new car was replace every stinkin' incandescent bulb on the thing.  The fuse that was previously hot enough to liquefy the fuse block is now cool as the proverbial cucumber.  (Not to mention that HID bulbs in euro-spec Hella housings throw well-controlled light like you wouldn't believe!)  Seriously.  Go LED and never look back.

Well - The Audi A8L is off the maintenance list for awhile.  Got 95K miles out of 55K plugs. Oops.

The 300ZX is getting the new shocks and 4-wheel alignment this week.  Ordered new front seat bottoms and a new passenger door window/lock panel for the Suburban last week and then noticed it's due for an oil change. I'll have it done by the end of the month.

Put the "list" together for the 280Z28 and it has ten items on it.  If I get them all done I'll be VERY happy.  That will also set me up for some future upgrades too.  It'll probably be late March before I'll be able to talk progress on it though.
