Thanks Will.  No rush, life is busy, we get it.

Maybe farm some of the stuff out of just sell the group of parts and what needs to be done.  For example do not weld the inners for people, just supply the parts.  Turning a hobby to a business is not easy.  Richard.

Feel free to call me.  We do a fair amount of manufacturing, maybe we can help you out and still let you make some money.  816-436-161zero

Will, Thanks for all your work on this kit, totally understand the busy life.

If you do make another batch in the future I'm interested. BC coil, and e-brake capable options.

I'm definitely in no need of this now and likely not for a long while, but I feel if another production run were to happen I would be obliged to participate to ensure that I got one in case they never got produced again.

Posting this here as well as the other thread.

I finally got around to ordering the off the shelf parts today.  It seems QA1 quit making the 2.5"x10" spring with the 300lb/in rate, in a powder coated version.

The spring is no longer available as an option on QA1's site powder coated silver, either.

Summit/Jegs does have the chrome version.

Part number is: 10CS300

The part number from the pdf that is no longer available:10-300

I'm particularly interested in the differential mounting.  I think I searched for your build (referenced earlier in this post...?), but couldn't seem to find it.

Try using 10ht300 instead; http://m.summitracin...rts/qa1-10ht300 silver powder coated. Landrum, ridetech, summit, eibach and a few others also list a 2.5 x 10" in a 300lbs/in rate. Summit's are about the same price, others are all more expensive.

If someone is interested in purchasing my kit please PM me, it will have to include the wilwood drag hats because I've already purchased them, along with everything Will sells in his kit and the modified CV axles.

When you guys are pulling apart the F150 CV joints, can somebody get me a few dimensions on the axle itself?  # of splines on each end, spline outer diameter and an overall length would be good, including a picture would be AWESOME!  I'm working on the 8.8 swap but in a slightly different manner and might be able to use the shaft itself. Not to highjack Will's thread, as this looks like a pretty sweet kit, but figured this is where all the people 'in the know' would be.

Additionally, to remove the axle from the CV's, the inner Mark VIII axles are also considered 'Ford non-removable', but the pipe drop method works beautifully to pop the inner race past the blind shaft circlip.  I'm not sure that the F-150's are of a similar design, but if there's a wire circlip that you can't see, it's worth a try before you go cutting through the shaft.

Just sent you a PM!

Otherwise, I'd be in for the next production run if it comes around.

I'm building this kit on my own now It seems. I've taken guidence from a few people on some of the FB groups, and combined with that and this, I think I can piece it together. But, what I do want to know is the difference in your backing plates and T3's...?
