Early (rusted out) 260Z part out.

hey by chance do you have the throttle linkage still? and the part the holds the throttle rod at the firewall? with associated hardware?

 

I might have something in those lines. There are a few different styles and lengths. 

 

Do you have any info or pics of the one you are after?

Evan,

 

The lock on the 260 was toast when I got the car. 

 

I do have a 71 hatch I bought for the vert. glass, The lock is there but only in fair shape. No key.

 

$10 shipped if you would like it.

Do you have the large diameter rubber plugs that fills the holes in the floor between the driver's and passenger's feet?

 

Sorry most all the rubber is rotted. Not much left on this car, It's headed for the scrapper soon.

 

I plan to part out a 73 soon, when the weather gets a little less wet here. Watch for the post soon.

I do have a valance set off the 73 car I am parting. The bolts have broke off, and there is some rust and dings. 

 

If you can fix that stuff I can offer it for a good price. 

 

I will get some pictures for you today so you can see what I am referring to.

It is really not rusty, I think the oily dirt must have protected it. 

 

There is a small ding in the front at the reinforcement plate. 

 

Your call if you want to go further with it. I'm thinking $40 + Shipping

Hey you happen to have a lower valance pieces or a set?

 

Well it looks worse than I thought, The corners are rusted and dinged up. The center has a crease dent. lots of broken bolts. Turn signal sold separately.

 

I may have another set that is better I will check for those.

Are those the original steel wheels on the car?

I need a set for my 240Z, have the hubcaps already. (I want wheels with hubcaps on the car).

 

If they are, I'll take them (w/o tires). Thanks

 

I do have 5 stock rims from 240 / 260's I use them for picking up parts cars that have rotted out tires, and I need the car to roll. 

 

But hey, everything is for sale I can mount those tires on a set of junky mags I got with one of those aforementioned parts cars. The are a bit rusty but that makes them less expensive.

 

I see you are in the Philippines, shipping would be expensive I expect. Do you have a US address to ship to?

I do still have a flange, It's got surface rust, as you can see.

I don't think the rust has hurt it, so a bead blast and some paint or POR will fix it up.

Are all the heater components available? I.e. heater box,vents, ducting, pretty much the whole system under the dash on the firewall.

 

The heater parts from the 260 are mostly gone, but I do have a complete set up from a 73 240, if that will work for you. It just has the usual foam decay.

I took a look at these and the do look different, Being an early 260 some things are 240 based and other are 280 based. 

 

The 260 looks to have had a plastic box and the defrost vents mount to the car not the dash. 

 

If you need the later, I am of no help.
