Stony's Unnatural Aspiration Part 4!!!

Well part 3 is  coming to a close. I got the motor rebuilt and made 710rwhp on the old school Greddy T88 and 24 PSI. I posted a video and literally less then 12 hours later it was sold. received the deposit today.

Part 4 will be out this spring and will consist of a 2jz NA-T mated to the same drivetrain in the orange Z that the RB was.

Currently I have the block assembled, The head has been modded to accept TT electronics. Need to order cams and springs. assemble head and bolt down. I also have the powerhouse Powerglide adapter.

Its going to be a fun build. as I get pics I will post in this build thread. For now if anyone knows of forums that deal with NA-T conversions post them up. also and good facebook pages that list parts for sale would be cool.

Stony you might try hitting up the driftutahclassifieds on facebook, occasionally there are some good deals on 2JZ stuff and might be some great resources local to you for other parts.

That group is pretty open to letting anyone join as long as you're civil and don't discuss drifting on public roads

I plan to start my na to t build in november. I' ve been accruing parts for a year or 2 and im ready. Using a 94 supra na motor goal is 400whp using a Holset he351cw, 350z 6sp, keeping the dizzy but I would want to change that out to mojo lq9 coils later on. Here are some links ive been book marking, may behelpful may not be not sure. But the na regrind cams are great (TCC perf), I wanted to get cams but for now I wont. Ill upgrade cams down the road also. Not sure if youre part of supra forums but they have good info. Club na-t was the best but it sadly closed a few years ago :( Also not sure if you've seen the quick spool valve but its definitely a must ;) Stu's garage is helpful has some manuals that are nice to have.

Hope some of it helps! Na-t in my opinion is cheaper, easier and "better" than the gte. The only advantage of the gte is the coil packs.

Well looks like plans have changed again. Just scored a 5.3 truck motor for 400 bux with 40k on the ticker. looks like I will be moving to the dark side ;>

May have some 2j stuff up for sale shortly. Biggest thing will be the powerhouse 2j to powerglide adapter setup.
