Guest Anonymous Posted June 20, 2000 Share Posted June 20, 2000 I'm working on a stock 77 280z with fuel injection. I just got the car and drained the nasty 2 year old gas out of the tank. The car was elevated, so to get the last bit out of the system, I ran the fuel pump and ran the output of the fuel filter into an empty gas can. I filled up the tank again. Now the fuel pump sounds like one of those old steel wheeled roller skates, and nothing comes out of the fuel filter. I ran the pump for a long time to get the last of the gas out; you think I screwed it up? Or is it having trouble priming itself? It's injected so the pump should be pretty stout, right?
