7one Z Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 I just looked at a 1973 Datsun 240z today it's pretty rough has some rust on the trunk lid ,inside the spare tire. The battery tray look to be OK. not sure if it runs or not the carburetors are off also its is a five speed. rturbo 930 Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 Well, your pics don't really show much, but your idea of "pretty rough rust" looks more like an east coaster's idea of "rust free". If there's no major problems hiding, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. And given the way the classic car market is, I wouldn't feel bad paying as much as $2k for that... but again... I'm on the east coast.
