JacktheRiffer Posted June 2, 2016 Share Posted June 2, 2016 So I understand that using the timesert inserts will allow solid lifters to be used in place of the hydraulic ones. However I am abit lost on two things: Do I need to block off the oil holes as I have read on here? Where should I source the lifters from? I have 2 N47 heads. Would I be able to use those? skirkland1980 Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 Haha I saw this same post on Facebook. Did you get the answers? If not just screw the timesert in with some Locktite. Then screw the adjuster in. No other mods needed. Yeah any adjuster from a non hydraulic head will work. Don't forget the mousetrap springs.
