14Point7 Wideband o2 controllers Megaspartan and iDash

I just became a dealer for 14point7 products. They are a fairly smaller company than the big 2 like AEM and innovate however they do offer better price points and carry a 2 year warranty and 60 day money back gaurentee behind their products. I personally went through two Innovate wideband controllers before getting the Spartan 2 and I am very satisfied with it. I am also adding them to my Megasquirt 2 harness kits as an option as well. They use the Bosch LSU 4.9 Sensor in all the controllers which are used in practically all o2 aftermarket widebands. I killed one lc1 and 1 lc2 so far so you got me beat. Hoping Summit will take this last one didn't even last a year! Really like the spartan its nice supporting the smaller guys especially when they make a better product than the big boys. 

 

P.S> Got the speaker pods awhile back they are super nice fit and quality ! I'll show some pics with my android double din hooked up via bluetooth. GPS, Media, engine parameters all in one!

I have also moved over to Spartan thanks to some advice from the Chickenman. I went thru 2 sensors with Innovate. In all fairness though I have learned more about sensors and how NOT to shock them . Also running EFI now is easier on the sensor I bet. I like the blue light that lets you know the sensor is located in the right place. My sensor is further out then recommended but blue light says it’s good

Thanks!  It would seem like a pretty straightforward conversion from voltage to afr.

Yes the conversion is straight forward. However different controllers have different outputs and some of them have configurable outputs per lambda.  I just wanted to see if the idash basic software has something in the software to convert that signal and put it in in lambda or afr.

The spartan 2 outputs 0volts10[AFR] to 5volts20[AFR] Is your speed hut gauge programmable? i know innovate outputs could be programmable and thats where we see lots of fried controllers and sensors. To answer your question I would have to know which output you are using on your LC1 and the voltages... there are many gauges out there setup for 0-5v / 10-20 afr. Hope that answer your question if you have any more let me know

The gauge came calibrated for innovate.  I'm not sure if it's user configurable.  From the manual:  Your wide band gauge is calibrated to work with Innovates 10-18 AF (.880-3.54volts).  I'm not married to the gauge or controller but it'd be nice to have options.

Oh i misunderstood what you said from the manual as in Spartan2 I was looking and im like HUH? OK so I am no expert but your gauge looks like it was calibrated for innovate 10-18af .880-3.54 volts this is most likely linear so if the spartan is giving 0volts *Which is supposed to be 10afr yours will read differently on the gauge and not accurately to real AFR . I would contact speed hut to see if it could be re-calibrated.
