I have been trying to get the Webbers dial in runs good just  get  cant rid of the flat spot at 3000k RPMS.  Cruising on the highway 70 MPH the car hunts and runs flat. Runs Great at 3300  RPMS  and above. But at those RPMS  I speeding. Im looking to swap over the the Fast ERI. Eventually Im  looking to buy Robello 's 3.0 bottom kit.

I'm not gonna be keeping the carburetors I will be removeing them and installing the EFI.  And yes Fuel only going to  run my 280zx distributor.    My lack of Weber tuning skills  and no weber suport in my area are  the main reasons I want to replace the fuel system with bsomething simple that doesn't require a lot of tuning .

I’d help you out but your still 4 hours away , plus I think I forgot how to work on carbs now :0

now if you go Megasquirt I’ll set you up !!

Youll need to sell off the Weber’s to pay for EFI , but won’t regret it

The plan is to sell the Webbers  to fund a to  the EFI. I'm looking to get more information on a System first.. I am familiar with megasquairt,  I had very bad  experience with the that system.  I was one of the first guys to buy from DYI autotune.  My ECU had lot of firmware issues, lost and The injector drivers 3 times had to send the Box back for repair .  After about 6 months of deal with that I rip the whole thing out and bought SDS.  They sent my  ECU to me with  a base tune my car was a pleasure to drive after that I drove with the base Map for three years before ripping out the turbo set up and going to a LS1 swap. That was about  10 years ago.   If you are to go to DYI auto tune website you will see a diagram for a wire in up the the Realy  board on a 280zx turbo swap.. That illustration came from my friend Chris.  The guy at Dyiautotune  liked the illustration and and for permission to display it on his Web page it has been up there ever since.

I believe the combination of my Box being one of the 1st he built for 280zx and  also my lack of tuning skills cost a lot of my issues way back in the day.  Although I'm sure by now things are much better with Mega squirt I really want to  with a plug and play  system . Don't want a repeat of those days of not knowing what I was doing no one close by that could help me having to go to the megasquairt  Forum .

Madkaw  Do you still have my number if so can you please call when get a chance.  I can PM you my number again if you don't have it.

I am sure things have improved megasquairt  But I don't want to relive those days.  I'm sure my lack of tuning skills had a big part to play in me  1st experience with that system.  Also not having anyone in my area with experience with megasquairt  .

You could search the Internet for feedback on any FAST EFI application, I would think, to learn about how it works.  zcardepot just put the parts list together to make it east to apply to the L6 engine.  FAST has been around for many years.

Good reviews on the fast system for the  L6 on youtube. The only thing weird would be the two extra injector wires to deal with. I would cut them out.
