Im gonna start a count down for the SEZ for us Z guys here in houston.

if ya didnt know, me and my buddie J (73Turbo240Z on here) are trying to get our Z's done in time for this event, which we plan on driving there in our Z's.

My Z hasnt ran in about 6 months or so, engine had more problems due to shitty machine shop work on the rebuild, since then it went into Ed's house to get painted (he is also a member on here). He has been working hard and getting his end of the deal done in time, and doing great work at the same time.

SO heres the TODO list.

Get Engine put together, its all apart :(.

Get all parts needed powdercoated and then installed.

Paint engine, finish detaling it.

Order all the -AN fittings and Lines, Fuel Filters, etc for the fuel system.

Order struts, wheel bearings, front pads, rotors, rear shoes.

Get the car back from paint...

Put engine in after i put the clutch and flywheel in and tranny.

Route the fuel lines and make all that work and work safely at the same time!!

Cut out the rear hatch floor, weld in steel, cut again for the fuel cell, get all that done some how.

Start wiring up the standalone ems, fuse box that ill make from whatever, and etc wiring.

install all gauges and etc.

buy and install carpet and install all the carpet.

make the sparco seat bracket, and get the passenger seat in.

install the struts, springs, bumpstops, brakes and etc.

undercoat the inner fender wells.

finish whatever is needed in the engine bay... i dunno what but im sure alot!

Start making the exhaust, gonna be such a pain!

Get the LM1 installed.

try starting the car!... big TRY!

man im forgetting a ton but thats okay, i dont want to know all of it right now.

Im getting very stressed about all this, as all i have is weekends to work on my Z. :(

Spec Stage 4 clutch and Lightweight flywheel is on the way, along with a nissan comp headgasket from my GREAT buddie Juan V8dats on here.

man its gonna be realllllllllllll close, i so hope i get this done.

Im getting there one way or the other!

44 more days to go till i have to leave so its on like donkey kong!

wheel bearings and brake parts will be ordered tomorrow.

metal for the fuel cell will be bought once the car is in my hands and i can see whats needed.

Ed! need ya to help me find some cheap (as in money) black carpet.

next weekend ill have all the parts done from powdercoating from Dead Roman!

i gotta start looking for exhaust piping, want to do stainless steel but i dunno if ill have the time as i gotta find a welder thats up for that task.

plus i gotta find the Y pipe and etc for the design im going for with the Ferrari Tips i have.

- Finish assembling L28 accessories, including acquiring a alternator, and figuring out the bracketing.

- Install AZ car radiator, Isuzu NPR, copy plumbing, and find rest of coolant setup for L28et.

- Get holset exhaust housing to and from shop for ceramic coating.

- Finish installing ES master bushing kit

- Finish installing eibach pro-kit, tokicos, and ST sways

- Acquire and install new rear pads, drums, and bearings.

- Wire up MSnS or stock 83' ZXT ems so it can drive

- Quadruple check the cars major sealing points to ensure i don't gas myself to death on the trip to SEZ

Aside from that, help mike finish his car... my driveways gonna be choc' full of Z's here pretty soon.
