It's here! JTR Book...

Recommended Posts

Just got the JTR book today, I've been reading it for about 40 minutes and taking notes, I'm about halfway through it. this swap looks simple enough... any advice? I'm ordering the $275 kit next week. Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning the engine bay according to the pictures (good thing is, when I got the Z, it had no engine in the bay -- just lots of crap -- the hardwork is done)

DAT-103 Spacer, Aluminum (1-1/16" thick)

DAT-104 Spacer, Aluminum (2-1/16" thick)

DAT-101 Set Back Plate, Passenger Side, aluminum, 1/2" thick

DAT-102 Set Back Plate, Driver Side, aluminum, 1/2" thick

And the rubber mounts, it looks like I'm missing the washer on the one but shouldnt be too hard to find. I do have a modified tranny mount too if you have a T56 bolted to it.

I made all the mounts for free. Just copy the drawings and trace them onto the metal (they are 1:! scale). Then cut. all u need is a band saw and a drill press. Only took a couple hours. If u don't have the metal, u can get it at Blue Collar Supply for a few bucks.
