Anyone fabricated a new front crossmember?

I also made my own front crossmember. I also relocated my LCA pivots, but used the stock steering rack. I used rectangular tubing, and welded the completed crossmember into my car. It allows for more oil pan clearance as well.

It wasn't that hard to do.

Why is there a huge spacer between the Viper cross member and the frame? Won't this change the alignment, or maybe change the location of the pivot point?

. Your right Dayz. it would change the pivot location. In the JTR manual, it states that the spacers are to lower the engine reletive to the body, thus increasing hood clearence. But most guys here don't use the spacers to correct and or reduce the drive shaft angle. I'm not a suspension expert so I'll let others here explain the effects of lowering the crossmember. I just posted a pic that desert dog requested.
