Hello everyone!

I'm incredibly excited to be so close to finally starting and driving my 240ZT thats been down and out for around 4.5 years now! I got the haltech talking with the laptop last night, and am about to wiring up the ignition and fuel injectors (still have some questions on the dizzy setup though :( ) So its about that time that I start looking for a map to start out with, If anyone can help me out that would be great (even E6K maps will work)

here are the specs:

L28ET

370 injectors

T04b .60 hot side

Z31 ignition module

280ZXT dizzy with Z31 trigger wheel

60mm Tb

large FMIC

any help would be great, I really want to hear my car run again!!!!!

Hey Sparky,

I will be the same boat your in; hopefully in a few weeks! Just need to finish installing my EZ-wiring kit and finish up the Haltech. But anyways...

These links helped me figure out and cleared up the confusion I had about the "Dizzy Setup." Hope this helps; Also, if you do get any maps, could you send them my way too?

Hopefully in the next few days you and I will both have a start up map to work from. the thought of finally hearing my car run (and run well) is giving me chills! so close!!!!

You can usually get it started with the base map. If not try and set up the ignition to the factory setting and then just adjust the fuel as needed. A wide-ban O2 sensor will help out greatly too. I know that you can have it displayed on the haltech screen while you are tuning. I just don't know if it's an option or a standard tool. I've used the F9 and F10 FMU's and have never had a problem starting my z with stock or bigger size injectors. Granted the were fuel only computers.

Sparky - Thanks for the info, I did end up finding the same info from the Yahoo Haltech Forums I just joined, also here is the new more modern Haltech Forum, I also discovered, its sponsored by Haltech Distributors and they chime in frequently. Worth bookmarking.

I will be ready to wire up my car in a few weeks - x fingers, so you are ahead of me.
