Guest GeekGirl Posted March 30, 2007 Share Posted March 30, 2007 Hello everyone, justed started on my first restoration/conversion project and wanted to post some pics. The car is an 81 280zx non-turbo, automatic. The plan is to drop a SBC in and switch to a manual transmission and keep the look as much stock as possible. I just got the car (my second zcar) for $1500 and have a line on a good engine. The interior is in realtively decent shape (just needs new vinyl on the panels) and I will begin working on that while we wait for the engine to arrive. The paint is in surprisingly good condition with only minimal rust and the hood paint messed up. She will get a new paint job shortly after the engine goes in. I am relatively new to the zcar world (at least the modification part), so any suggestions would be appreciated. Will post new photos as we progress.
