BigGimZ Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 Hi all, I'm looking at a 1975 280Z owned by my aunt out in LA since 1976. The car is Silver/Black 5spd (not original) and has been in storage and has not run since 2003 (~4ish years). I don't know mileage on it yet and am working on getting pictures so I am just looking for a ballpark value. From what I know it has the normal wear and tear but no major body/paint issues, only issues are obviously that it hasn't run for a while so I'm planning on possibly having to pull the engine and drain all fluids, etc from the car as well as new tires, belts, etc. I plan to get it all up and running and drive it that way for a few years with eventual plans for a LS1, T-56 or TH400 swap. Thanks for any help, I have been searching but not many fit this same situation. I am also factoring in shipping the car from CA to KS for around 1k. I paid $500 for a good solid (very little sufrace rust) 75 Arizona car that ran but wouldn't pass emissions. Ugly paint and needed almost everything.
