all 3 rear cylinders arent going...

Being as the rear carb feeds the rear 3 cylinders, and those same 3 cylinders are not firing, then the carb is by default the strongest common denominator for sure.

Have you tried reading the plugs? Checked float levels for both carbs?

I thought I had the same problem on 72 240Z on a trip from KY to Kansas.

Tried everything out on the road but could not figure it out. Car would barely make it up any hills on the interstate.

 

Got home and my dad took off the valve cover and the camshaft had twisted in half and I had driven all the way home on the 3 front cylinders.

 

Shows how strong those L6s really are.
