This one was posted on this forum a while ago, Z driver is in his 70's. I just like the way he drives the car, fast but smooth.

And this one is a stockish daily driver NA S13, note the incar phone :) Vid shows how good both car and driver are.

oOo, fun thread.

As much as I love finding great rally vids, I'm gonna go off pace since you guys are covering some great racing clips.

Anyone ever found out the details on the engine in that car?

No, all I know is that it's owned by Ahmad Khodkar.

A man in his 70's who lives in Ontario, from the information me and my friend gathered it was built by whiteheadperformance. It's a V6 out of a Buick Grand National, though the exhaust tone betrays it because it sounds a lot like a V8.

I already like this thread! Here are some of my favorites:

The guy who's driving here is probably the best FWD rally driver from my country... Ever.

This one is an onboard of Janusz Kulig (don't try to say it, do yourself a favour), who in my opinion was one of the greatest rally drivers from Europe. I used to be a fan of his... Sadly, he died in a car accident (ran over by a train on an unguarded railway crossing), yesterday was the 4th anniversary of his death...

This particular one is a great video from the Nurburgring. I think Yasin will like this one... Guess why? :)

Here are a few films from the Pikes Peak, from the days when European group B cars ruled the mountain...

"Climb Dance" with Ari Vatanen and his Peugeot 405 T16:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPUpN8JZe2M

(I can upload a full AVI file of that video if someone's interested)

Walter Roehrl in the incredible 650HP Audi S1 Pikes Peak:

TIP: TURN THE VOLUME UP! (I have a full mp3 file of an S1 running on a special stage, and boy, this is only comparable with Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyrie", it gives me pure goosebumps!)

One of my favs..

Hey, I meant to put this up! Dang, Braap is always faster...

On the Peugeot Pikes Peak video you can really hear the car's engine performance drop off at the higher altitudes. It wasn't as sharp and sounded a bit labored near the top. Its got to be difficut to tune the engine for 5,000 ft. change in altitude during a 10 minute run..
