Just checked out Carbon8....very cool. Your Z looks great and is keeping with good company! That old yellow Civic is real nice but I LUV that 71 Celica. I always had a soft spot for those cars:icon45:.....never owned one though.

I think that just about sums up what were all thinking here..

 

Are you defiantly set on the six speed now that a mag is quoting you on it?

Any idea what your doing for a rear end?

 

should be a killer build.... cant wait to see it

HAHAHHAHAHAHA I thought that was a funny kinda end to the article! ANd no im not going 6speed.. i hadnt bought the tranny at that point and i wanted a 6speed..but when it came time to buy a transmition i could only afford the 5speed. For the rear end im using a 3.36 r200 and LSD it or weld it.

If you have any stock parts you want to unload on me, let me know. I have a couple parts here and there I'm missing, but you might need them.

 

the stock turbos/intake manifold i sold for 500 bucks! i was surprised i got that much..i have a power steering pump and ac condensor im not goinna use off the motor..what else you might need? i have a bunch z parts too..2 seats..and a 240z rear bumper

ALRIGHT GUYS THE WHOLE DRIVETRAIN IS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my clutch from HKS Monday of this week (after waiting FRIGGN 3 MONTHS for it!!!) I got the clutch and all the instructions were in japanese..wooohh good times!

 

Anyways after figureing out the clutch and buying all the bearings and little parts i assembled the clutch and put the r154 on yesterday. Today i got two of my buddies to help me put it in...it took about 4 hours of wrestling and completely cutting off the stock trans months on the tunnel.

 

soooo the motor is FINALLY IN and DOESNT need to come back out !!!! IM SO HAPPY
