Juicehead Posted July 21, 2009 Share Posted July 21, 2009 Ok, I think I have read through most of the stickys... I am trying to budget a possible swap and have a couple questions for an install. 1. What mods are required for the following: 400-500hp 500-600hp 600-700hp+ 2. I think I missed it, but what transmission is being used for this motor? 3. Would 500hp be a reliable daily driver? I do not want to be working on this thing 5 hours for every 1 hour of drive time. It then becomes more like my airplane, and that is bad enough... For 500whp you need bigger turbos, bigger injectors, and a good tune (maybe cams if you want better response). That should be reliable if the motor is in good condition.
