As the title says, found a 1/1971 240Z for cheap and am stripping it down to just a frame.
Everything is located in Elk Grove, CA.

Alot of the part's I am going to keep but will be selling off most of it.

Rear hatch with Vertical defroster line's in great shape and also has the vent duct's in good shape as well.
One of the vent's has a broken stud but the other is still intact but they both need re-chromed. $80 for the whole hatch with the glass and vent ducts. I cannot ship the entire hatch and neither just the glass so please don't ask.

4 Screw SU Carb setup that seem's to be in good shape. Include's the intake manifold's, balance tube, both complete carb's and linkage except for the arm that connect's to the firewall bracket. Eventhough they are a little dirty, they seem to be in good shape as the piston's move fairly easily like they should and had somewhat fresh oil in them which lead's me to believe that when the car was last registered back in 2005 it was running as did the other newer part's that where on the engine. I figure $120 shipped for the whole setup seem's fair seeing as they go for between $100-$300 on ebay all the time.

Early style choke cable setup in really good shape, I would go as far to say as it looks new from how clean it is and how easily the cable's move.
Come's with both cable's attached to the lever setup as well as the bracket's to hold them to the SU Carb's but no knob or firewall grommet. $45 shipped

Another Early style choke cable assembly but in OK shape. The cable's are a bit stiff and the lever assembly is a little rusted but it is complete other than a knob for the lever and no firewall grommet. $30 shipped

P30 L24 block with the crankshaft and main's still bolted in, no rod's, piston's, etc... Just a P30 block and crankshaft with all the main cap's and bearing's. $30

E88 head in good shape with all of the valvetrain and camshaft as well as the oil spray bar. Came from a 1972 240Z and judging from the chamber design I would call it the 2nd generation of the E88 head's. It's seem's to be all original so I would suggest having it refreshed with new valve seal's etc.. before using it of course. $70 shipped or $50 picked up

4 speed transmission also from a 1972 240Z that seem's to be in good shape. $30

Qauarter glass with the chrome in good shape. $45 shipped for both side's

Red leather sun visor's in great shape from my '73 240Z. $30 shipped

1/1971 240Z dash harness in good shape, it has a few wire's that were tinkered with but are easily repairable. $50 shipped

280Z Urethane front air dam with duct's in good shape, no crack's or anything like that but the paint is of course peeling due to the flexing during highway driving. $80 No shipping, local pickup only.

RB20DET engine with good compression but was dropped by one of it's previous owner's and need's repaired by a good welder that can weld a cast block. The head also need's a few valve's replaced when they lightly kissed the top of 2 piston's. It is basically a complete long block that include's the fuel rail, ignitor's, cam cover's, injector's, Maxima MAF, stock turbo exhaust manifold, damaged but easily repairable lower intake manifold and a few other part's.
$180 OBO for the lot or I can sell the extra part's seperately just shoot me an offer.

R180 Differential in great shape. I have not confirmed it yet but I believe it is the 3.2?? that came in the standard 240Z. $40

I have a ton of part's left to list, these are just the part's that I can think of at the moment that come to mind. I have still not completely torn the car down yet either, once I have the drivetrain and suspension removed I will add the part's that i'm not going to keep to this post.
I will also add picture's in the next few day's as well of everything that I have so far.

If anything seem's overpriced feel free to PM me with a reasonable offer, i'm willing to negotiate.

I am also looking for part's as well that I would be willing to trade any of the part's I have for.

A short list for example:
ZG Flare's
Clear headlight cover's
15 or 16 inch 4x114.3 rim's with or without tire's
Fender mirror's
Type 1 airdam for the 240Z or even a BRE style airdam
Rear spoiler
Triple weber carburetor intake manifold
L24 8mm or 9mm rod's
P90 head
VD07 Diesel crankshaft ( stroker crank )
Lightly used or even new tokico spring's/shock's
Name brand strut brace's
New poly bushing for the suspension
Etc...

Feel free to offer any part's you may have that you think might be in my list of part's i'm looking for, it's alot longer than I would like to type out on here haha.

I only accept Paypal for payment unless meeting in person in which case I only accept cash.
I only ship to the United State's, no out of the country shipping at all.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound cheap but I don't really have the time to sell off the little part's for $5 at a time.
Perhap's if you need a few other small thing's to go with it we could work something out.

I will be once I get the car moved back over to my shop from my house.
I would strip it here at home but would get stuck with a shell that I can't move haha.

Hopefully in the next week or so I can get it moved and completely torn down and i'll post the part's that I'm not going to keep.

Wiring harness? I need to make sure I can use it though.

Out of curiosity, what are you doing to the shell? Not scrapped I hope, since it's a series 1 :(

Which harness do you need?

As far as the shell goes I will be putting it up on here and craigslist for anyone who want's to pick it up. Whoever pick's it up will need a flatbed as it won't be able to move except with my forklift. It's got some bad rust going on though and need's alot of help and time that I can't give to it as I already have a '73 Z. If nobody want's it I will cut the good panel's off and scrap the rest.

Which harness do you need?

Whole thing. I have the rear body harness that goes to the tail lights, but I don't think it's compatible with yours. My car is a 12/70 BTW, and the PO had an electrical fire and replaced everything but that bit going to the tail lights with a painless harness.

Here's a thread I made about harness compatibility. Not sure if yours will work, in which case I may just take the whole thing, if you're willing. And if so, what's your price? PM me if you'd prefer it.

I can but I don't think it would be worth it as it's been sitting for a while and look's original.

If you want it I can do $25 shipped.

Well, a little over an hour ago I typed out a nice long post about some more part's that I am putting up for sale but as I waited for the page to load I noticed that my internet box was not lit up....For some reason my internet was shutoff for about 1.5 hour's or so... Rather than re-typing it all over again i'm just going to post part's with price's.

I have also lowered the price's on the part's that I first posted.

'71 240Z Sport seatbelt's in OK shape- $60 shipped

Window crank handle pair in OK shape- $20 shipped

Black plastic tail light panel in great shape- $40 no shipping

’73 front bumper with brackets but no over rider's, in good shape, a few ding's- $75 no shipping

’71 rear bumper with over riders in OK shape, need's straightened- $50 no shipping

6-3-2 Header in poor shape but useable- $25 picked up or $35 shipped

Steering rack- $85 shipped

Hood with slight dent in the front but overall good- $25 no shipping

Passenger fender in good shape- $40 no shipping

L24 flywheel- $25 shipped

L24 crank- $35 shipped

Valve cover- $25 shipped

Both Driver and Passenger door’s with all part’s except latche’s and panel’s- $100 no shipping

Steering column- $45 shipped

The car also has a set of nice rim's on it that resemble the old centerline rim's that were smooth but had rivet's near the inner lip of the rim to hold them together. I don't see any name on them but I have yet to remove them from the car. They appear to be 15x7 but I will pull them soon and confirm what the size, offset, and manufacture is. $85 for all 4 with bad tire's picked up.
