Have been alot at work recently, so there havent been much progress... I am just finishing the R230 install, had to modify the MM kit to make it fit properly. Have assembled the driveshaft and the cv-joints, and they fitted very well. I installed 280z stub-axels from MM to match up the rest... They took a while to get.....

Have started wiring up a new 18 circuit harness from Painless. The new fusebox will be located behind the glovecompartment door, together with ecu and relays. Installed the Speedhut gauges in the dash too.

Nice car. These engines sound sweet with an uncorked exhaust...and last forever, at least in stock form. So says my 251k mile SC400 that burns pretty much no oil.

Love the look of your 510. Will try to find me an 510 as next project....

Yes, the 4-door and wagons were common cars here in the days, but theres not many left.... They were named 1300, 1600 and 1800. But the 2-door was not sold in Norway, maybe further south in Europe.

Think i have to find me a 2-door from US, and ship over to Norway. My Z is also a US car, the previous owner is Rayapp here at the forum:)

It's alive!!

After a couple of weeks working on wiring the whole car, we had the first startup a couple of days ago.
Posted Image

Just some tidying up in the wiring mess now, and fix some fuel leaks... Then I will install fenders and front and start testing/mapping.

The sound of the engine with all trottles fully open is AMAZING! :)

ITB's look cool, but won't your IAT's be through the roof? Or are you just not worried about that.

Super clean car. Neat to see something different.

I will make up a plenum with cold air intake in front, but not just yet. Have to get many other things in place first.

When you "joined" UZ and the r154 did you use a full bell housing like this " http://www.ebay.com/...bab65c0&vxp=mtr "
or did you use an adapter plate? I am collecting parts for this swap now :) !!

Sweet!

1UZ's are crazy reliable. My SC400 has over 300K on the clock now, and doesn't burn a lick of oil. I just recently supercharged it too using the Lextreme "Fish" bracket.

What are you using for engine management?

Contact me for cheap prices on speedhut gauges, many, many, other things
