  1. Pin A - ? Pin B - ? Pin C - connect to switched power Pin D - ground Pin E - start terminal of ignition switch (one of the larger terminals) Pin F - power out to back up lights Pin G - to starter relay (one of the larger terminals) According to Chilton the smaller plug is the transmission range switch that performs gear related functions for the PCM.
  2. I took a closer look at the switch last night. There are 7 pins in the larger upper recepticle, not 6.
  3. Sorry. Newbie mistake. I tried searching posts but found nothing on this particular subject. Thought it would be worth a post.
  4. Could some one please explain, or better yet, post a schematic of the wiring of the transmission side mounted P-N-P switch that JTR recommends in their books? It has 2 connectors. The upper connector has 6 pins. I know that the 2 larger ones are the park neutral safety switch, 2 smaller ones with continuity in the reverse position are for the back up lights, but what are the other 2 meant for? I believe one might be a ground? The lower connector has 4 pins, all the same size. What does it control and what pin position does what? I guess I am confused by the Chilton schematic diagrams. I haven't been able to figure it out. My drivetrain is a 95 Z28 LT1 and 4L60E.
