  1. This is where I get lost at, I don't do well with the drive line ratio's. What would be a recommendation on this. If I was to use this Turbo 400 transmission how would it act as in driving on the street. This is going to be just a fun vehicle nothing freeway speeds besides a couple times but most 45-50 mph zones. Edit: The other question I have is I have read a lot of people that have turbo 400 trans have 3.55 rear gears but if my research is right doesn't the R200 diff(manual) already have 3.54 rear gears?
  2. Ok I have had this 77 Datsun for about a year now and starting to tear into it. I was going to go a ls motor but went the carb setup instead. I recently bought a 350 motor and turbo 400 transmission that came out of a farm truck. My main question now is will the turbo 350 transmission mount work with the turbo 400 or will this be a custom bracket that I will need to be made?
  3. As the title states I need a wiper linkage due to mine being frozen solid. If you have one that is in good condition or at least works please PM me with a price and picture if possible. Thomas
  4. Ok I just want to be sure I was doing this correct. I have no wiper but have power to the connectors but motor doesn't turn. I tested power at the connector(at motor and under hood), tested relay everything has power and works besides motor. I looked at the wires coming out of the motor housing and ran a set of cables from the battery directly to these two connectors. I looked at the wiring schematics and these wires are the 12v hot accessories wire and the other is the ground. I just want to be sure before I replace motor.
  5. Any Update been following this thread since I purchased my 280Z
  6. It would be greatly appreciated if you could do that. I have found so much tuff that I want to do to my Z now.
  7. How are there products, I looked at there site and found the prices to be reasonable, and do they have the holesfor the use of stock hinges or do they have to be drilled in? I don't know anybody on the west coast, the farthest west that I know someone that I can trust is in Kansas and I'm going to see about him doing my body work.
  8. I haven't had any luck with Z barn so I will have to keep looking for a replacement one. I appreciate all the help with this.
  9. The 280Z that I recently bought has two major rust spots that have gone through the corners of the hatch at the rear of the hatch. I have been looking around for a new hatch but all I have found have been components of the rear not the actual hatch. If someone could point me in the correct direction in finding a new or used one that is rust free that would help out alot.
