  1. The US and JDM VH45 are much more similar. Mostly differences in emissions stuff. I think both started with dual round intake ports then switched to oval ports. If you live in the US, go for the US VH45. Its the guys with access to JDM engines that consider swapping VH45 internals (crank, rods, and pistons) into the JDM VH41. 2. ^ I assume youre asking about older clutch LSDs in the Q diff. Good question. I'm 99% sure the R32 and G50 diffs are identical in size. They both use the bigger axles. Dont know if the internals swap, but I doubt you'll find an R32 CLSD without the housing so just get the whole thing. About 240sx R200s... I forget which years had VLSDs available on base models. But all US S14s with ABS have a VLSD. So just look for the ABS "box" under the hood on passenger side firewall. For S13's, I think ABS, HICAS, and VLSD all came together, and this package was only available on 91-93 hatches.
  3. Wow, most informative thread Ive seen on any forum in months. Yall have explained so many things Ive been curious about but never knew how to ask. I must say that Vette with 180 degree headers still sounds like an average Vette to me. Even the GT40 didnt sound Ferrari-like IMO. Question: Is there a reason these Ferrari V8s seems to rev (and return to idle) so quickly? I'm guessing its because the recipricating assembly is lighter than the bigger domestic V8s so theres less intertia to overcome. Thanks again for the schooling!
  4. ^ That setup belongs to a guy called ultrapulse from New Zealand... http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/211041
  5. Those wheels sound like replicas. I dont think Ford put staggered wheels on any non R Cobra. Be sure to get some good, high quality ones. 225 has been done on 9" wheels, but thats pushing it IMO. 235 sounds much better, but I dont have experience with Z fitments.
  6. According to the FSM, the Q45 and Z32 use the same parking brake setup...

  8. I'm looking for a copper radiator for my 96 240sx. Ive heard the stock 260Z has a decent single row copper radiator and it will fit in the 240sx by fabbing new mounting tabs. Ive seen new OE replacements on the net sell for $160 + shipping. My other option is a Koyo copper. Its a single row as well. Here's a link to an S13 version on Ebay for $170 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KOYO-OEM-NISSAN-240SX-91-92-93-94-Manual-RADIATOR-W-Wa_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33602QQitemZ7963614088QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V I'm hoping I can get the S14 version for about the same price. How do these two radiators compare? For the same price, I think the Koyo would be better. But if I can find a used 260Z rad, do you think its as good as the Koyo? BTW, I'm planning a 300whp KA-T. I hope this new radiator will work with that setup in 90* summer heat.
