Well, have been away for a while and found the site again, am in no hurry for the covers but hope that eventually this come to completion. I am still in for two sets of the short nose sets!

Great post, was wondering if you have pics of how your fitment of the frame rail was done? Did you butt weld it or what ? I am in the same boat working on deciding which way to go either new aftermarket frame rails or find a front donor? I understand how your stiched the inner fender in under the strut tower but looking for pics of how you fitted the frame rail of the donor to the your car. Thanks Newtonhubcap

Long time follower of this post and glad to see Mdantonio is making progress. There is nothing more important than dealing with family issues so I am no hurry for the rings and lenses. When they are availabe they are available. With that said, I am truly interested in the chrome rings with the lense that will fit the contour of the stock nose (flat lenses I guess). Mdantonio, this is good news to hear about the rings but hope to hear good news about your wife's health. I know that we are all excited to see and order the rings but we all need to remember- "we need to take care of the home life and the one's we love". Best wishes and good health. I believe it is just for the rings. There seems to be plenty of us waiting to here an update. Kind of like take a number and stand omline .

I am very interested in these. One set would be polished aluminum and the other would be unpolished aluminum because I will have that set powder-coated. I have a friend here in Wisconsin that actaully does metal-flake powder coating, not that is what I will be doing. I just know that he is extremely meticulous in his work. Lots of info going on, want narrow this down. Door panels plain Jane for 240 is (?) and another set with speaker opening is (?). Still would nice to see pictures though.

Rayapp, what is the name/model of the air dam you got? That is a style I am looking for. That car will get tickets just sitting still once you get those mounted. Nice!

Hi Pete, I hope you are mended and healthy. I have followed this post on your development of your door panels. I have two 71 240z's and would be interested in one set for sure but unsure whether I want them with speaker mount or without. A question I have is one able to stretch the stock vynl enough for the speaker mount or is there extra material needed. I have a new set of OEM panels for the other car so only seeking one set.
