  1. Call Jennys phone mine messed up. 699 5585 (2-25-2011 @8:45)

  2. On the compact 4-dr, I don't think there's anything better than a Mazda3.
  3. The new Sonata with manual transmission has an invoice of $19,363... Maybe I can get you one for that
  4. I think the first thing to decide is how much you really like the Z chassis. I think a Maxima should be a lot cheaper than a Z on similar condition. The reason is obvious, the Z is a sports car, the Maxima is a family car. The Maxima would be quite a sleeper though.
  5. Hahaha... I read that section and started laughing. Maybe a sign on the side of the car advertising the local pest control company might get you by
  6. I think it's great that they chose an S30 for this... ... However I wish the execution had been much better.
  7. How do you buy a car for over 30k, spend over 70k on it, and not know what it's called? I would think it's a scam. It would be sad if it's real. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/cto/1636484685.html
  8. Both engines have the potential for more than plenty of power for the S30. You can turbocharge the VQ35. Both will be more expensive the higher you go on horsepower. I personally hate threads asking which engine to swap. If you are not sure you want certain engine, don't do it. Keep on reading, search more on that and other engines. Until you find an engine that you really like and fits best for what you want/need. For many people these projects end up taking years. If you are swapping the engine that most people said was better just because they said it was better but you personally didn't like that option the best, you might end up selling an uncompleted project down the road.
  9. Where can you buy RB25det transmissions for $400?
  10. I remember reading a post, from the people who made the Thaggard pan, saying that the engine would need to be installed first, then the pan. You should be able to find the thread. However, if you can bolt the pan on the engine first and then fit the engine in, as pat1 said, that would make things easier.
  11. Sorry I deleted them. It was long time ago. I remember it was white, auto, with red interior I think. Didn't look bad (in pictures) for 1k. And since he's been trying to sell it for a while now I would think he would work with you a little on the price maybe.
  12. I have no knowledge about the subject, but from reading I feel this thread has some good technical info that might help someone in the future... maybe someone making their own LCAs. Might be a good idea to move it to the suspension section?
  13. http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/1595834461.html He's been trying to sell it for a while. I saw some pictures and the body actually looked in pretty good shape. He hasn't ran the engine for a while. He says it has been stored for years.
  14. Easy... you buy a "donor" car to convert it into fiberglass, paint it, cover the inside as usual with carpet and all else, and use the donor's vin number. Who would suspect it is a fiberglass body?
