I have 71 240z with 327 Chevy. It has dart heads w gold crane roller rockers , scat crank ,etc with r200 rear end. I had Dyno sheet it has 425 hp. I'm askin for 6 grands..I'm located in south cal. Email me selwynabrahamson@yahoo.com or text me 951 941 4075.

I have some problem with tach,temperature and oil pressure. The tach read like 300 rpm more n sometime it'd move back n forth. Temperature starting to move way later and it went over the middle , is it normal? Oil pressure keep movement back n forth n sometime it'd stay over 90 ..sorry if I sound like a noob but Im deeply fall in love in 240z, I'm willing to do anything to learn to make it better.

I pretty much believe all stock except dart heads n manifold.. Is it possibly ?

Well guy told me it has Pete Jackson drive , polished n port dart heads n manifold , 3500 stall converter n 700vr trans, Mallory dis , 3 rows radiator, serpentine pulleys. Ithe motor s from 1965 Chevelle 327 (250)hp which it s 10:5 compression . If u were me n didn't get enough spec from guy tht doesn't know much, how much would u est the hp n rpm ability.. It has low vacuum 1hg ..

I got 71 240z 1965 Chevelle (250hp)327 Chevy w dart heads. I wasn't sure how much rpm can it go. w dart heads do u think it could go like 6500-7000?

So if it below tht it mean I'll have to take the heads off n install new valves guide/ seals is tht correct?

Smell like gas n oil on spark plugs but it start up right away..

Ok I'll try my best here.. Well it wasn't run right it was overheated n keep shutting off so I adj timing to 4 n it stable n idle sound good sounds like radical cam. Abt 1 hg in vacuum gauge. When I drive, it seem fine but in first gear it looks like it lost a little power. I have air/fuel ratio gauge and sometimes it goes to ideal n then rich. There's a smoke coming out of carb as I push throttle all the way down n u can see the smoke in there is it normal? I'd suspect the spark plug s old n Mallory cap looks worned. Running electric fuel pump. Sometime it goes to 6-7 psi then lower to 3 psi. The temperature is in middle, it d go lik further sometimes. the oil pressure haven't hook up but I will soon ..

Last time it has tag it was feb 2011, guy told me it has been sitting for a while like 2-3 months

Hey guys I m new here. I got 71 240z Datsun w 1965 327 w dart heads tht I got from trade. After I set the initial timing at 4 btdc n idle at abt 950rpm . I pulled the spark plug on first cylinder n it has a oil on it .. Is there something wrong??
